Owl flies off eastward searching for his beloved childhood friend who long ago left and never returned.  Without Owl, the Island creatures are adrift. Fannie and Mollie plea for calm.  Danny Deer, Ben Beaver and the Porcupines all insist Owl will return.  Terrance Toad the Third says no, he will not return  and he windbags around trying to take Owl's place.
